A 6th degree Black Belt, Master Zohar began his martial arts training in the art of Judo as a 9 year old boy in his native Israel. He immigrated to the U.S. at age 13 and began studying the martial arts of Taekwondo and Kuk Sool Won.
He earned his Black Belt by the time he was 16, began teaching at age 17, and has since trained in several disciplines, including Krav Maga, Hapkido & Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, combining techniques from these styles into his school’s curriculum.
Master Zohar holds a B.Sc. Degree in Exercise Science from Penn State University, where he founded and captained the unofficial Penn State Taekwondo Team.
A 6-time Pennsylvania State Taekwondo Champion, Master Zohar has also had an impressive career as a Taekwondo coach, producing numerous state, regional, national (AAU and USTU) and international martial arts champions.
In 1998 Master Zohar was honored, along with only 17 other Americans, to graduate from the first ever Master Instructor training course for non-Korean Masters at Taekwondo’s international headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.
In 2015 he authored the book Nobody Picks On Me and created a unique and ground-breaking anti-bullying program that focuses on empowering children to stand up to bullies, peer pressure and other negative influences.
